Symbiosis, Pune is a very good option but make sure that you score good in SNAP/CAT. Apart from this, your 2nd choice should be MIT, Pune which really good.

I researched some of the universities in Assam. The first one I saw is department of mass communication and journalism, University of Gauhati which is the number one of all. Then there are:
-Department of Mass Communication, Assam Down Town University
Fees: 1 to 2 lakhs
-Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University
-Dibrugarh University: Centre for Studies in Journalism and Mass Communication
-Asian Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT)
