HI,S/W testing is good course at a time in company.S/w testing have must experience and knowledge of which is you like language such that PHP & MYSQL,Java,Asp.net,Dot net etc.At a time for testing Java,asp.net ,dot net and Php & mysql.In this field have many knowledge of language .Suppose that company are take any project which is have java,but you have only knowledge of c,C++.So i am say that only you have one-two language knowledge.

Hi, as you mentioned that college is not UGC/AICTE but they give excellent knowledge about your field, so there is no problem about the certification whether its UGC recorgnised or Private Institute the main part is that what you learn from them and that is more impotant in job.
I know some student who complete their MBA from UGC/AICTE approved college but they are not good in job and their work, because they only got certificate not knowledge. if you here get good knowledge so you will definately perform anywhere and any condition so that is more important. Hi, its good after completing of graduation you did GNIIT course. On the knowledge of the NIIT study you will get the job in IT field, but they have different department, so what you learn in NIIT you will get job in that field only.
But i know one thing, that NIIT provided job placement, so you can try from them.
And for IT companies they required experience candidates with good communication skiils, managerial skills and extra acivities also.
So try on that.
