Although it is quite early to begin preparing for the CAT as the ideal time to begin with the coaching for CAT would be in the final year of your B.tech, but then you can begin with brushing up your basics in Quant and Language. For this you may refer to various competitive books that are available in the market. Other than this research over a good test prep institute in your locality would also be a good option in the initial phase. The best universities for the Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Canada are University of Toronto, University of British Columbia and University of Vancouver. The test you would have to take in order to get admission in these universities are the GRE and the IELTS. The fees depends from university to university but you should keep an estimate of 40,000 CAD per year for Tuition+Living expenses.
Note: the above mentioned fees is not 100 percent accurate. It may be more or can be less as well.
Duration of the course is 2 years.

In your case, I would say as you are still at the early stages of your career the best option for you would be to opt for an MBA program from a decent full time University, for which you should prepare for various Entrance Examinations like CAT and appear for the same starting from end quarter of the year 2011. Till the time you appear for these examinations and get a decent University you can continue with this job.
If you feel that you can not go for full time program then I would suggest you to keep looking for a job in operations and simultaneously go for a short term course like PGD in Banking Operations. Few of the institutes you can look at: IIBF, NIBM, and Times College of Professional Studies etc.

Of course women are also in civil engineering jobs, but very less in number, as compared to male memers. But due to its nature of mostly of field job, I would rather advise you to take up Architecture instead of Civil Engineering. About job opportunities, civil engineering is developing in Government departments like any thing. Of course architectural jobs in Government departments are very less as compared to the jobs in civil engineering. But, unlike civil engineers, there is much more scope of architecture in private profession as licensed architects, as every plot owner in urban areas have o get their building plans duly approved by the concerned municipalities. The building plans, unless prepared by qualified architects are not approved by the municipalities. So, for every new building or for addition or alteration to the old building every plot owner necessarily has to approach a qualified architect. So, they are earning a lot more by charging a good fee from each client, as private professionals rather than as a Government architects. Even if in service there is a great chance for having private practice also in spare time, as an architect.
