Graduation in any discipline with 50 per cent marks of General Category and 45 per cent marks for reserved category.
Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU. The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT, and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT.

Hi Zainab, there are numerous career prospects available for students after their Masters' in English literature. MA Literature students can get jobs in India as well as overseas in a variety of fields.

The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your specialization is your own interests and career aspirations. However, Finance & Operations would be a good option in case you are from engineering background, and you have a strong hold on your logical abilities, whereas Finance & IB would be for those who want to get into Business development and take it to international level and interested in making Business strategies keeping in mind international standards.

As per your query,I would say that whichever college your sister is studying, would surely assist her with companies for the training as OJT (On-the-job-training) is a mandatory part of curriculum for all professional programs.
Apart from the assistance that her college might provide, I would suggest her to keep a track of IT companies and also regularly make individual efforts so as not to loose in the end. Well there are good number of IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Cisco, HCL, Satyam and many more that take students for training process.
I would also advice her to start working on traits like confidence, communication, personality development, current affairs, time management as these are very important to strive out in any organization in order to secure confirmed placement with the same organization.
