As you have mentioned that you have completed your B.E, opting for a Masters degree should be a far better option than a PG Diploma course, also as you mentioned of going for a distance course, the same can be done through any open University having a study center in your city.

Canada: In general, you should keep an average expenditure of 50,000-70,000 Canadian Dollars per annum.
US: In general, you should keep an average expenditure of 50,000-80,000 USD per annum.
You would be allowed to work upto 20 hours maximum a week, 4 hours everyday. Payscale would depend on the kind of job you are doing.

Although advisable is that you should go for a full time MBA from a decent University as that has a great market value and gives you much better job opportunities, However, if you are looking for growth in your current organization then you can think of opting for Correspondence as you already have good amount of work experience. As for the subject of specialization is concerned, this shall depend on your area of interest but as per your bachelor degree, opting for Operations/ IT are a better specialization option, but rare to get in correspondence mode.

As a current student of MBA at the Delhi Business School who has done a dual degree in Finance and Marketing and is now placed at the HSBC Global services, I would like to say that. SAP and ERP like courses give your career a big Boost. i know because a was asked of lot of questions related to these in my interviews.
I know for a matter of fact that of lot of MBa graduates do courses in SAP and ERP but I would like to say that at the Delhi Business School, we were taught all these topics and it proved to be really of help.
i would like to advice MBA aspirants to Choose such courses which can give high return on Investment by training

BCA is a bachelor course best suited for those who are keen to pursue a career in IT and programming without a background of Science.

There are no specific books which you can follow to prepare for Civil Service examinations so, you need consider different books on general studies, for the subject related knowledge the best source would be your own NCERT books starting form 8th till 12th level. Few of the other things you need to keep yourself updated on current affairs (read News papers, watch news channels) & work on your language skills (read novels).
