There is a huge growth in CSE today and everything is covered by CS. So, you can opt for CS in SRM-Chennai. But, everything depends on your interest, so if you have an interest in programming, then you can opt for this field.

Thapar University is better overall like if you talk about faculty, facility, hostel, placement, cut-off trends, etc., as it has got AAAA+ which says this is an outstanding college to pursue an engineering course, whereas, LPU has got AAA+ which is also good, but not better than Thapar University.

If you are seeking admission in engineering college then I would like to refer SRM as the first preference. It is one of the reputed private colleges. It is best in every context whether it is its environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. If we compare LPU with SRM then SRM is far better. Thapar college is also good. Now, it's up to you, first of all you have to clear its entrance exam.
    All the best.

Hello, As per my views, Thapar is better than other two for CSE because Thapar is one of the most reputed college in India and having a position against IITs. Also, the infrastructure, teaching methodology, placements and overall development of students are upto the mark. But if you don't get Thapar, then you can go for any other college. Thank you and please do upvote my answer.
  • Thapar University is better than SRM University. CSE in Thapar University. It is one of the best private engineering colleges in northern India. SRM may be good but you will get the best crowd at Thapar University.
