It is much easier for Microbiology students to switch to Biochemistry than Zoology or Botany students. B.Sc. Biotechnology has a deeper understanding of technolog

I can very well vouch of the curriculum, pedagogy and exponential opportunity one gets in B.Tech Biotechnology from LPU no where you can get. I would like to pin few reasons why:-
    1. Here the Research projects are in collaboration with national laboratories of India (NIPGR, New Delhi; CPRI, Shimla; NRCE, Hisar; IIWBR, Karnal; NIEBE, Kapurthala), Live projects for undergraduate students.
    2. You get the opportunity of internship & placement in companies like Biocon Pvt Ltd. , Panacea Biotech, Shanta Biotech, Syngene, Piramal Healthcare, Wockhardt Limited, Reddys Laboratories, Bharat Biotech, Himalaya Spring, Nectar Life sciences Pvt Ltd.

Doing B.Sc in microbiology is a better option. If you've interest in biotechnology then do B.Tech, B.Tech biotechnology has better scope than B.Sc. Biotechnology.

Since microbiology is a part of biotechnology, you should opt for biotechnology. It has good choices for further studies. Also, microbiology is good if, you immediately want to get a job after completing graduation.

Both the fields are good. These fields have a lot of scope. You can get a good job if you enter in the field about which you have a good knowledge. By the way, microbiology is the best option as for now.

Both are equally best. Choose the field among these, in which you are interested and you love to work with curiosity.
