    Well friend,
Each of them have good future potential. And you can switch over from one to other at the different level.
For instance, you can do a course in microbiology at degree level and move over to biotechnology later.

    Hello Iram,
Both biotech and microbiology are good. If, you studied microbiology, you have to stick to one field. But biotech provides diverse filed including basic microbiology. So, I think you should pursue biotechnology.

That depends on your choice and interest. But, if you really want to have future in either of these fields then go for biotechnology because microbiology does not have any scope in India.

B.Sc in biotechnology will be better if you have to choose among these 2. You can also do MBA after completing B.Sc.

As compared to microbiology, biotechnology has a better scope. It is better to take more references.
    All the best.

Both the streams are having good opportunities. But, if you wanted to work in lab environment my suggestion would be to go for B.Sc microbiology. If wanted to do something else like wanted to do MBA after B.Sc biotechnology. It would be my suggestion to go for B.Sc biotechnology and then you are left with good options to choose different path after B.Sc biotechnology like MBA, M.Sc or job.
