Well to a very large extent VFx and MCA are entirely different fields. VFx is more into Multimedia field where as MCA is a degree which is in to technical field in IT.
Vfx involves sub streams/ software like Shake, Eyeon Fusion, Final Cut Pro, After Effects for compositing and 3D programs such as 3DS Max, and Maya, and even Cinema 4D or Blender, are used for creating 3d objects.
JavaScript, Perl, VBScript and Python are the languages used in scripting of Vfx. You can opt to pursue these languages as these can be a lot of help in Vfx using Softimage XSI.

Hi Moinuddin, The intakes for any course in the UK Are genrally Jan/FEb and September. But UEL does nt have a BA hons Business Administration. They have Business Management which begins twice a year both in Feb and Sep.
