The scope for students who have done their BDS course is very high nowadays. This is applicable in terms of both employment opportunities a well as higher education. Higher education in this field is the basis required for a person to get lucrative jobs with hospitals or other health care institutions.
With the introduction of modern equipments and other novel technologies such as MRI's, Lasers, multispecialty centres and other new varieties of technical gadgets, the avenues for jobs as well as educational opportunities have opened in a big way. A specialization in this field in a very young stage will certainly make it a good career choice for the younger generations of today.

Saksham, There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. you can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. you could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. you can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. you can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Some people are passionate about acting - they must understand that acting cannot provide jobs since this is an assignment based industry and one must fit the role.
