As the time is passing, the pace of Urbanization is also increasing which in turn demands construction of more buildings for residences, factories, power plants, storage facilities and lot more. So, as the demand for construction increases, demand for civil engineers should increase but the placement reports show something else. Most of the colleges shown lesser placements for civil in comparison to other branches. Even premier institutes like IITs and NITs faced the same situation. Many of the civil students opt for IT or consulting jobs as they don't get placed in core companies. But, only placements don't define scope of any branch.

In BE or B.Tech you will study about engineering along with the computer subjects but in MCA and BCA you will mostly learn about computer technologies and programming. There are several companies which only asks for engineering students whereas some companies used to hire BCA/MCA candidates mostly. So my final suggestion is if you have done 12th with PCM then go with BE or B.Tech in IT/CS otherwise opt for BCA.

Dear aspirant,. Glad to meet you. The need for IT specialists is growing, and organisations are struggling to fill these open jobs. India is suffering from disparity because computer engineers are more inclined to relocate to foreign countries. This makes it tedious for Indian enterprises to recruit professionals, forcing them to offer higher salaries and greater benefits. Owing to the curriculum in Indian engineering colleges, there is a high demand both in India and internationally for computer Science graduates, with a diverse range of work options. As a result, computer Science is one of the most popular disciplines among college s

The placement from TNAU for agricultural engineering is really very nice as compared to many other deemed educational institutions and private institutions teaching agriculture as a part of their syllabus. Being a central government-funded institution, it has a large syllabus and a great pool of knowledge from experienced and skilled faculty members. Also, the college is providing regular workshops and seminars to produce skilled farmers as well as agricultural corporates. Coming to the placement statistics of recent years which is continuously rising accompanied by ever-increasing demand from the industries having an average placement

Yes, definitely students from Jadavpur University get placed abroad. The college manages to attract a number of MNCs to the college during the placement drive.
This is dependent on two factors:
Firstly, it is dependent on the fact that how active is the placement and training cell of the college and how much effort it puts to attract companies like MNCs. Secondly, this is totally dependent on the company as to keep an employee in home job location or international location and varies according to various factors like job vacancy at the desired location, projects going on at the desired location and your personal preference among all th

As all the branches of engineering have different criteria for judgement as well as the different purpose of serving the people. So the branches cannot be compared at all with each other as all the branches require stringent hard work and knowledge for the better future scope. When talking practically considering academics, study pattern for computer science and engineering is the toughest as it has no pre-decided official syllabus and the questions can be asked from any perspective throughout the whole world. Although computer science students almost have all the work to be done in office whereas civil aspirants have their work in the

Just as I have been dealing with each and every question related to foreign placements, a college can only play a small part in fetching you a foreign placement by attracting some of the foreign companies to their college during the placement season, but they are just a few in number.
Other than that, considering the multinational companies, their decision to make you work at which job location is based on many internal factors, although they do give your option a little preference.
The factors being, vacancy in the job location of your choice, the projects going on at the job location that matches your profile and the company's requir

B.Tech and B.Tech are the two most preferred professional courses including law and medical with better scope in future. B.Tech has more job opportunities than B.Arch because it includes branches like CSE, civil, IT and mechanical. B.Tech is of 4 years and B.Arch is of 5 years. When it comes to campus placements the number of students placed in campus placement drive from B.Tech are much larger than the students placed through B.arch.
Summarizing, B.Tech will provide you much more opportunities but the future prospective are dependent on the students.

As we are aware that the world is fast moving towards automation and that there will be a lot of field that would require 'intelligence' in machines. So, keeping that into perspective, fields like computer Science and information technology will be growing upwards in the coming years. To add to that, there will be subjects like machine learning, data analytics, internet of things etc. That will become a part of the curriculum. It is imperative that any engineering aspirant understands that a stream that does not have components which enable him to learn about automation and artificial intelligence is going to face the music. The placement from TNAU for food processing engineering is not up to the mark as the placement from agricultural as well as farm related streams. The companies are definitely visiting the campus but students getting placed in the stream are not even around 80%.
As a gesture of advice, it is more worth to take admission in private institute from CSE or IT which will going to reward you more than the requested college and stream. For the food processing, engineers are hired by the company for testing the quality and to find the cost cutting measures to manufacture a quality product but this stream is unable to find a major scope and for t
