Suitability for girls will totally depend on the kind of girl you are. If you are one of those pretty 'I won't get my hands dirty with grease' kind of girls, then it's not for you. Because jobs generally might not be in an air conditioned cabin initially. The scope lies that many big PSUs and private manufacturing companies hire mechanical engineers. But if you can't make it through campus placements then you will have to do really well in GATE which is not that easy for all. Otherwise outside campus many end up taking IT jobs as they feel nowhere else to go. But, one thing for sure you will enjoy extra attention from boys as girls are definitely a minority in Mechanical Engineering classrooms.

Manipal Institute of Technology is known for its European culture as well as lifestyle. Almost, all the students are from the elite families get into Manipal though the institution charges a high fee but provides countless facilities and training. The same is reflected in the recruitment drives where many national and multinational corporations of India visit the institution for placement drives. Talking about CSE, the highest placement is around 27 LPA two years prior and the average placements are around 10 LPA based upon the students capability. Also, students get numerous placement opportunities abroad and most of the students are from CSE, IT and ECE branch.

The answer to this question includes political as well as logical touch although both the institutions are centrally funded. There is a large gap between the quality of students getting seats in an IIT as compared to the one getting a seat in NIT. Also, the government has to maintain a good image for the technical education system of India so the preference is given to the IITs. Although the amount of money does not very much which is around 3500 crores a year. The money issued for officials working in the institution, the fests held and the job perspective is more for IITs again for creating a good image worldwide. Also, the government is not that much capable of getting the NITs and IITs to the same level. The reason is that one needs to understand keeping in mind the political statistics. NITs are doing too good when it comes to education for a better future scope.

There is a lot of scope for mining as its application technology is updating every day with the increasing population and demand for fuel. Also, there are various start-ups which need highly skilled, dedicated and trained employees and labour for meeting the ever-increasing demand of the population. ISM-Dhanbad is a premier institute funded by the central government and now has become IIT because of its hard work. In the mining studies, the number of students placed abroad is very high as the mining sector do not find a large scope in India although there are many mines related to coal, diamond, iron and steel but abroad the scope is high because of which, students give priority to it as compared to the native placements. The highest salary offered to students of ISM-Dhanbad is 39 LPA where the average being around 12 LPA. The entrance into this institute is through JEE Advanced. Also, one dedicated to the field is only preferred to opt as the future life is going to be very challenging and full of dangers. Although, companies have many precautionary measures still it is a tough task.

It is a better idea if you start your JEE preparations from the class 8th or 9th because there are many subjects and competitive olympiads and exams being conducted class 7th onwards in which you can participate and learn a lot of things. Also, you can enter the group of an elite category of students which are hired by various coaching institutes and provided with the high-class preparation methods for JEE Mains for free. Though you have to study a lot in the time where no one can realise the actual study pattern of competitions which would be hard for you if you can face this you, will definitely raise your chances for Advanced. Also, don't try to take much stress as it will completely disturb your mental balance. Try to be in your comfort zone from the starting. Try and learn managing things as it is not as simple as it seems. Also, try to focus more on gaining knowledge and be aware of various national and international olympiads held in and around your academic session.
