The PGDBM/PGDM/PGP degree is offered by the B-Schools and is generally updated on a regular basis as per the latest corporate trends. Whereas, the MBA curriculum is designed and upgraded by a university. Both can be considered at par with each other if they are offered by elite B-Schools (e.g. SP Jain offers PGDM whereas NMIMS offers MBA).

The work permit duration is equal to the duration of your study or academic year.There is no such rule of a fixed study duration to get permit to work. If you want a 2 year work permit look for a course lasting for 2 years or do two courses.

It is well known for its good infrastructure knowledgeable faculty with experience of teaching and many facilities like Wi-Fi Sports Complex and labs with better equipments and machines.
Sastra University is known for its research in chemical engineering but it cannot be compared to IIT or NIT research.
