150 question are there in the exam of total 600 marks without negative marking. So to score good one has to work on the speed and accuracy. In the last month before the exam best thing is to go through the previous year question paper and just concentrate on all the important topics for the exam and your strong chapter. If you are left with some previous chapter which is a strong part for you try to review those.If you are facing any type of doubt then try to solve before the exam because if you miss out something it can lead to loss of many marks. Solve previous year question in less than 3 hrs and try to find your strong point and weak points. SRMJEE mainly focuses on mains topic and is easier than Mains as seen from preparation perspective.
Although, the competition remains the hard when you have to get the desired branch and fee waiver for the session.
The most important part of the syllabus is the focus should be done first on main topics.
The syllabus follows chemistry, thermodynamics, mole concepts, atomic structure, alkane, alkene, alkyne, haloalkane, combustion of fuels and calorific values, P-Block, D-Block, ionic equilibrium and a onetime quick revision on NCERT topics.
For physics, it is NLM, forces, kinematics, SHM, waves, fluids, thermodynamics, heat, capacitance, EMI, Faraday's law, rotational and circular motion, ray and wave optics and few measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and screw gauge.
In maths, the 2d geometry including parabola hyperbola, ellipse and circles, calculus that is differentiation, integration, AOD, area under the curve, series, functions, permutation and combination and probability.

There is no proper syllabus criteria for the particular topics in IPU CET but the topics from which the chances are absolute high the questions will be asked are as follows. Chemistry being the most scoring and time consuming need to be focused first with the topics. P Block, D block, equilibrium, biomolecules, polymers, organic chemistry of alkanes alkenes and alkynes, halo compounds and nitrogen containing compounds. Mole concept, atomic structure, thermodyanamics and periodic properties of elements. Physics, waves, kinematics, fluids, SHM, ray optics, NLM, friction circular motion, rotational motion are some of the important topics. Maths, full calculus including integration, differentiation, area under curve, functions, application of derivatives, series, full 2d that is elipse, parabola, hyperbola. Though all the topics are important but these topics are more than sufficient to get a good rank. Only the focus should be in logical thinking rather than long solutions. Also, there are as it is same facts from NCERT books so that need to be studied thoroughly.

For admission to engineering institutions, marks from the previous year's 12th grade board will not be taken into account. You must still earn respectable grades in order to be eligible to take the JEE exam. Therefore, I advise you to merely study a little amount for your college's unit exams and midterm exams, and focus on being familiar with the material in your textbooks. All of the numerical questions on the board test will be simple to solve if you give your JEE preparation your all. In general, Physics Chemistry and Math won't be a problem, but if you're taking certain languages or vocational topics like Computer Science or ECE, you'll need to study a little bit for each unit test and semester exam.

CBIT and Vasavi College of engineering are the pretty good colleges for CSE but Vasavi College of engineering is better for CSE engineering.
Pros of Vasavi College of Engineering over CBIT:
1. You will be under good as well as strict inspection by faculty in the first year. But, you won't get much time for playtime and extra-curricular activities in the first year.
2. The college has a very good library facility with good number and of various fields.
3. The college is strictly against ragging, and that ragging scenario has almost become suppressed (99%).
4. Once you get done with your 1st year, and if your performance was good and genuine, then you may get good support from the core faculty in the coming years, which gives u a good momentum further.
5. The college has got a good cultural fest EUPHORIA in the 2nd half of every year. But the technical fest was not so good if you show up with high expectations.
6. The placements record was excellent for CSE, IT, ECE. And it was average for MECH, EEE.
7. The college has autonomous recognition with its own pros and cons.
8. The standard of teaching is good, but can only be recognized if you contribute your part in learning.
9. The lab facilities are very good compared to other state colleges, exceptionally even for mechanical and civil. Many colleges unable provide good facilities for these two branches.
10. The college even focuses on development of soft skills, technical skills, and human values to be inculcated by students.
