N first one, at least one good company visits your campus. In this case, you need to make sure you are among the top 3-5 of your batch to get selected by the company. You also need a strong understanding of fundamentals of the subjects and skills related to the field. If no good company comes to your campus then you have to rely on networking. Start forming your network on sites like LinkedIn from start. Try and get internships from well-reputed companies. Perform well at those internships. As I already mentioned, develop your skill set. For example Auto-Cad or Solid-works for mechanical engineers or C+, Python for CSE engineers. Indian Engineering Services Exam is conducted by UPSC and follows the same pattern that UPSC follows for civil services exam. Of course, as the name suggests one should be a graduate in engineering in certain branches or M.Sc in some cases. It is true that both JEE and NEET are competitive exams, but they differ in their difficulty level and competition. JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is an engineering entrance exam conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in India. The JEE exam has two papers JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is considered one of the toughest exams in the world due to its high difficulty level and competition. On the other hand, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a medical entrance exam conducted for admission to various undergraduate medical and dental programs in India. NEET is also a highly competitive exam, but the difficulty level of the paper is considered to be less than JEE Advanced. However, securing admission to a top medical college in India is still challenging due to the large number of students who appear for the NEET exam. The number of seats available in top medical colleges is limited, and the competition for these seats is high. This makes it difficult for students to secure admission to these colleges even after clearing the NEET exam. This is really a tough question because both of the question paper has its own perks and difficulty.
But according to me JEE is more difficult than BITSAT because JEE has questions asked based on the concepts of the syllabus and they do not directly ask any.
They are two different examinations based on very similar syllabus except for a few things.
I have written both the examination, so I know that major difference is not the fact that BITSAT include English and logical reasoning.
For JEE Mains, one is set 90 questions and given 180 minutes.
For BITSAT, it is 150 questions in 180 minutes.
Observation that comes from experience:
Time is crucial.
No doubt the overall difficulty of BITSAT is less.
Time is very crucial.
If one is concentrating only on JEE and solves BITSAT paper, you probably will fall short of time. The shift is about 120 seconds per questions to a question a minute.
So, actual absolute difficulty of questions: JEE>BITSAT.
Actually solving questions considering difficulty and time stress : JEE is nearly equivalent to BITSAT.
The BITSAT has a lure of 12 bonus questions- if you attempt all 150. Do not chase these questions by attempt and marking questions you don't know about.
