Firstly I want to tell you that the subject you selected for UGC NET must be selected on basis of your potential. Choose the subject according to your interest this will help you to clear all subjects as good and not to feel regret after selected suggestive subjects. And other thing is eligibility for UGC NET
You must be completed your post graduation at least 55%. NET subjects are:-
1. Political Science
2. Social work
3. Economics
4. Philosophy
5. Management
6. History
7. Sociology.

Exams like NMAT, MAT SNAP and CMAT are relatively easier than the likes of CAT IIFT and XAT. Though, among the easier exams mentioned, I feel NMAT and SNAP are worth giving due to the following reasons:-
NMAT - No negative marking; can book the exam as per your convenience; max. Of three attempts provided; no GK (if you dislike it); tentative cutoff for NMIMS 2017 = 209; clear the cutoff & a call is guaranteed; probably the costliest exam (1950 for one attempt); best college = NM Mumbai. Yes, it is necessary for an Electronics Engineer to be proficient in C. C is the language used to the programme embedded systems (it is generally referred to as Embedded C). C lets you view the system at a lower level compared to High level languages. C lets you deal with memory addresses directly and manipulate individual bits of data using bit manipulation operator. Once you learn C, it becomes easier to learn other languages. If you are new to programming most of the points mentioned above won't make sense to you. But once you learn C, you will appreciate it.
