The reason why I am saying that, is because the scope of both these course leads in same direction. In B.Tech Civil Engineering, you will learn about the Mathematics behind construction of infrastructure. The material strength, geography material mechanics and etc. Whereas, in M.Arch your study will revolves around designing and planning execution of the infrastructural projects. You will learn about the industrial, commercial and government organizational structures and their execution. So, from my opinion, it is very good thinking, if you are going for M.Arch after B.Tech Civil Engineering. This combination will give you very high job designation like; Business Development Manager, Project Manager, Production Manager, Senior Technical Advisory, Chief Technical Officer etc. This combination is good, if you are dedicated enough about your career.
