One could refer Arihant or any of the book for LSAT but the main target should be to command on the portions covered in the examination. If one is doing coaching, the coaching provides the study materials which are more than sufficient. It tests mainly the reasoning ability and English. So, one should gain a command on it only by doing more and more practice of the reasoning portion. Also, by improving vocabulary, one can attain a command on the English portion to some extent. Basically, one can purchase books for reasoning. Whatever one seems fit and comfortable. At last, I would like to state that Thomas Alva Edison said - " Success

Okay, without any further ado, let me tell you, campus recruitment has got a lot to do with one's luck and ones's CV. With a capital CV which are adorned with good grades, records of moots and debates won, the chances of you getting selected by a reputed firm is very high. In tier 1 NLUs like NLSIU, NALSAR and NUJS, one can expect top law firms which can offer something from Rs. 12 to 24 lakhs p.a. In tier 2 colleges like CNLU, RMNLU and NLU Jodhpur, sometimes, reputed firms may offer Rs. 8 to 16 lakh pa. In tier 3 colleges, the condition of recruitment might be disappointing as law firms are still reluctant to offer these newbies any

Hi there,
Well, the placements opportunities after a law course from Directorate of Distance Education (Kurukshetra University) Haryana would always be nil as the degree that you get after the completion of course would not be recognised by Bar council and thus you can't have any practical implications of Your degree and it would also get difficult in making a career in law. Also, the law degree would not make you eligible even for judicial services exams and thus would be a degree on paper only.
Also, it would not make you eligible as a legal expert even.
So, you won't get any placements as such here. So, I would advise you for better ca

Well, again distance learning program would get you a qualification for namesake, as that degree or Diploma doesn't have any practical implications. The Bar Council of India does not recognize it and so do the UGC doesn't not consider it at par with regular or even private courses.
The distance learning is available through many institutions in India, but that won't serve you results in real.
Also, you would not be treated as a law graduate for purpose of any civil services exams or government exams, unless you have another degree which is regular and recognized by UGC.
So, you do not have options in real after pursuing a distance learnin

Universal LL.B. Entrance is your best bet. It is comprehensive and deals with every subject in detail. The trick is to go through the entire study material several times, cover to cover. Focus on GK (static and current) and law. As long as you are sincere in your preparation, you should have no problem in cracking the exam. The difficulty level is not high and what makes a difference is how dedicated you were in your preparation.

ACLAT is conducted by Alliance University for admissions to its 5-year integrated law courses. The pattern of exam is quite similar to CLAT expect for the fact that legal aptitude constitutes 45 marks and logical reasoning constitutes 45 marks.
There are no specific books in the market for ACLAT. However, if I come to the preparation part, you should start your preparation with going through past year papers which would provide you with a better idea as to what is relevant and what is not.
Then look for the books which cover those topics comprehensively. You can use RS Aggarwal for Maths and logical reasoning. For English, you can use b

The preparation for the exam should start with going through past year papers to identify what topics are relevant and what areas to focus upon. Now coming to books, for English, you can use any book which covers comprehensively all the topics. Focus should be on comprehension part. For GK, you can use Pearson or Lucent. For current

SET is the entrance exam for Law courses in Symbiosis University. I do not think that there are books available in the market that deal specifically with SET. However, you can use the books available for CLAT while you are preparing for SET. Apart from that, you can use books like Wren and Martin and Word Power Made Easy for English, Objective Lucent for GK, MK Pandey to cover both verbal as well as non-verbal reasoning.
