The Shiv Nadar University (SNU) allows for some very interesting career combinations because of its multidisciplinary courses. For instance, you could go for a Major-Minors combination like Engineering-Natural Sciences or Humanities-Business -- that greatly expands your scope of learning as well as career opportunities. For more info, you could check out www.snu.edu.in or call their helpline 1800-102-1768.

Obviously BE for getting into jobs and career growth. However, if you wish to be a scientist, go for BSc, preferably try for integrated 5 year MSc from IISER or NISER. They are set up by GOI on the patter of IITs & IIMs.

I believe, engg refers to MSc (Engg). One (MSc, IT) is for application oriented career and the other (engg) is for core discipline and jobs as well as good for higher studies like PhD.
