Some renowned colleges prefer SNAP (Symbiosis) and XAT (Xavier's). But, CAT is also important examination. It is depending on which college you are enrolling yourself with. All the best.

It is the only exam to get into MBA course for IIMs. IIMs give weightage to 10-12th percentage + CAT percentile + what/PI performance + any work experience for selecting a candidate. AT is one of the important entrance exams TO GET admission in an MBA course. However, there are other national and state level exams like:
1. XAT conducted by Xaviers Institute.
2. SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis University.
3. NMAT by GMAC council.
4. For NMIMS and other colleges, IIFT exam is conducted.
5. CMAT is conducted by AICTE.
