    Hi,Yes CAT is one of the Important Entrance Exam for MBA Admission. Still, if you have not written CAT for MBA Admission. You still can get Admission in Top Business school.

    CAT is one of the most important exam for entrance in MBA college. But their are also some colleges which conduct their own entrance exam.

    Yes, CAT is an important exam to get into Iims for MBA. Its the only exam to get into MBA course for Iims. Iims gives weightage to 10-12th percentage + CAT percentile + What/PI performance + any work experience for selecting a candidate. There are many other colleges which consider CAT scores to offer admissions. Check the below link-

    No, CAT or CMAT exam is not compulsory for MBA. There are a host of other MBA entrance exams similar/equivalent to CAT like XAT. Several institutes have their own entrance exams like NMAT for NMIMS, TISS, SNAP for Symbiosis, IIFT CET for Maharashtra institutes, MICA, etc.
  • CAT (Common Admission Test) is one of the most widely accepted entrance exams for admission to MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs in India. However, it is not the only exam accepted by all business schools in India. There are other national-level management entrance exams such as XAT MAT CMAT etc. , which are accepted by various business schools in India. While CAT is not mandatory for admission to all MBA programs, it is highly valued by top business schools in India, such as the Indian Institutes of Management (Iims).     No, CAT is important to get admission into IIMs, IITs, and other top colleges, you can apply for admission on the basis of XAT MAT CMAT and other management exams. Besides this, there are many colleges that conduct their own entrance exams. What is the Importance of CAT in MBA Admissions? Most of the top B-Schools of India provide admission on the basis of CAT scores.
