Hi,
In order to pursue MS in Canada, you need to have:
Good academic background, preferably 60% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
GRE score of 1100-1200 plus.
TOEFL score of 80-90 plus, OR
IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
Do not worry your low % of marks in 12th, will not affect your admission in MS program.

Hi,
In order to pursue Masters from Canada, you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 60% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
GRE score of 1100-1200 plus.
IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
Universities in Canada have 2 admission intake in a year, namely:
Fall(August) intake.
Spring(January) intake.
An average tuition fee at university in Canada is about CAN$ 20,000-30,000 per-year. The tuition fee and living expense might be more or less depending on the university and location.

Hi Madhuri, for your query I would say that a candidate in the case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS &T) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Hi Richa,
Frankly speaking almost all the Distance education are ranked equally in the eyes of employer, so be it SMU or IGNOU, it would be your own caliber, performance on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of job interview that would help you pull off even with a correspondence degree.
So, if you ask me I would say choose anyone but do keep in mind that it would not be University name which would get you the job but would be your own caliber.
I would like to add that you can join IGNOU reason being IGNOU is UGC/ AICTE & DEC approved University which is one of the oldest & well established University.
