IIT-Mumbai is far better than IIT-Kharagpur in all streams though many times CSE placement statistics clash with one another when talking about infrastructure. In aerospace branch the highest placement from Aerospace in IIT, Bombay is Rs.23 Lacs in Airbus France whereas it was 19 Lacs in IIT, Kharagpur from Boeing. Also, the average placement packages were 13 Lacs and 10 Lacs in the respective institutes. Although it is tougher to get into IIT-Mumbai than in IIT-Kharagpur, so one may also opt for aerospace in IIT, Kanpur which is there in all the IITs.

IIT, Kanpur in no way is a better choice than IIT, Kharagpur due to various reasons.
IIT, Kanpur students enjoy lots of freedom and can feel independent as the college administration makes you feel mature enough to take rational judgements whereas norms are strict at IIT, Kharagpur.
IIT, Kanpur has an average placement of 12 LPA and highest reaching up to 23 LPA whereas in IIT, Kharagpur it is 10.5 LPA, highest reaching up to 19 lakh.
Although, the labs and all other equipment related facilities are remarkable in both the institutes but still, Kanpur campus is more vibrant than Kharagpur consisting a pool of talented minds in it.

First of all, I must tell you that any college of AKTU is not at all satisfactory.
Amity being a big brand has maintained its reputation over the years and has a variety of programmes to offer to its students and is a good college. Again, don't get your hopes too high about Amity when I say it's a good college, as when we consider Amity in comparison with other colleges present all around the country it stands nowhere on the list of the top colleges in India.
Being a big brand, Amity has managed to attract a number of companies which is why placements at Amity are certainly a lot better than placements at Galgotias University-Noida.

NIT -Surathkal is said to be in top 3 but its position keeps on fluctuating. If we see the MHRD ranking for engineering colleges NIT, Trichy stands at 11th rank while NIT, Warangal stands at 22nd rank. Coming to the CSE department, the curriculum of both the colleges is similar. The faculty in both the colleges is comparable as they follow government rules for recruitment of professors. Coming to the placements. In 2017 NIT, Surathkal saw a placement of 100% for the CSE department while NIT-Trichy also had 100% placement for 2017. According to me, the industry as such sees NIT-Trichy's students as more employable than that of NIT-Surat

You should check with the placement cell in your institute if you qualify for campus placements. Many institutes have rules like no backlogs, a minimum CGPA to qualify for placements. Once you clear these basic requirements you should be able to sit for placements.

Hi Dear,
COEP and VJTI both are very old colleges in India and in Asia as well. These two colleges are the best for B.Tech in computer engineering. In terms of placements, it is all well as highly reputed companies come to both of these colleges. For B.Tech, many people say that COEP is good because it is situated in Pune and now a days, Pune is a developing IT sector. Most of the IT companies are situated here in Pune. COEP has a great opportunity for further studies. Placement from this college is as good as the IITs. Campus of this college is also good and hostel for boys and girls as well. The great thing about COEP is its academic

Both the colleges are doing well in their respective streams and aiming at providing quality packages to the students, so it is difficult to judge a particular college on the basis of only one parameter.
Comparison can be done through:
1. Labs and facilities: Though it is one of the most important parts of mechanical engineering to know about the practical application of machinery taught in the theory part, for that, RC College leads in providing the same.
Also, RV College has many clubs related and working in racing and robotics development hence providing better exposure to all.
Also, talking about past placement scenario, the average
