UPES Dehradun is ranked 46 for MBA and 91 for the B.Tech programme by the NIRF in its 2021 rankings. The institute offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Law, Design, Business, Health Science, and Modern Media. In spite of that the placements at Chandigarh University are very good specially in aerospace engineering. About 95% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Most of the students get placed because Chandigarh University not only focuses on education but also on the overall development of students.

Heritage College of Engineering, Kolkata is a very good college for biotechnology but the thing is that if placement is the sole criteria on which you want me to give analysis of the college, then I must tell you that the college is just an average college and you will be disappointed to know, almost 50-60% of the total batch of biotechnology students end up in IT companies, marketing firms, and banking sector jobs, where you would get nothing more than 4 LPA.
The thing for which the college is known for is, the faculty members or the professors here have earned a really good reputation in India as well as abroad and so if you think of doing M.Tech or MS from abroad, you really have a great chance of getting admission to some reputed foreign universities, with the help of the letters of recommendation that the faculty members of your college can provide you.
You cannot expect an average placement of more than 4-5 LPA in chemical department of HIT Kolkata, including the core companies.

Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary branch of science which is favorite among youngsters as it is providing ample opportunities for those who want to explore the new and advanced frontiers of science. It does not refer to a specific industry or job. The applications of Biotechnology is broad as it feeds to various industrial sectors like food, textiles, pharmaceutical, agriculture, animal husbandry and more.
Biotechnology includes several subjects apart from biology making it interdisciplinary. Along with the scientific part and engineering applications, biotechnology is giving rise to various new fields with humongous job opportunities. Being honest, let me tell you, the placements from biotechnology are not that good when compared to other branches. Biotechnology is the future, it is still developing whereas other branches are centuries old and well established. But if you are up for it, go for it.
And IIT Roorkee is one of the best IITs. There is no scope of mediocrity here, the institute invites the best players from the industrial world to get their students placed. Around 76% students get placed from the batch. The average package is about 6 lac per annum. But don't worry, it increases o0nce you in the room. If you are looking for more money, then go for non-core jobs.

For Biotechnology Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 75 students who applied to placements, 65 students were placed meaning almost 90% placement for Biotechnology which is astonishing considering the fact many core Companies rolling out offers. The minimum salary offered was 3.5 LPA. The average salary was 7 LPA and the maximum salary was 18 LPA for biotechnology specialisation. All these figures pop out a good reputation at NIT-Warangal. A wide range of companies with diverse roles into research development and analytics like Biocon, Torrent Pharma, Nuziveedu seeds, Dr. Reddg laboratories, Aditya Birla Fertilizer, Glenmark, Brenntag, Sun pharma, Raymond, etc. Recruited students.

Average package of COE branch of NSIT 2016 batch was around 14lacs.
Advice:- Don't look on average package, always ask for median package. Because average package can fool you, because if a person was selected in Google or Facebook or any other company having a big package that would increase the average by a huge amount(for example a student placed in Facebook with a package of 1 crore would drastically increase average package). On the other hand median is the package of the student who was in middle when students are arranged in decreasing/increasing order of package offered to him/her. So this will be a great help for you guys to understand actual stats of placements more clearly.
NSIT is a tier 1 college ,but that doesn't mean it would be having its average package high only few students gets the brilliant package as last year approx 8 student got the package of 1.25cr but they were religious in there studies ,so it totally depends upon your hard work.
Average is a wrong criteria to judge placents. But anyways this year it has been very high owing to 7 google,mtv placements. These have bulked up the average package by around 4.5 lakhs. So the average package for coe should be 12-13 lpa considering this.

After considering the placement report of 2016 for IIT, Guwahati in biotechnology engineering branch, out of the 40 students who enrolled for placements, 32 got placed. Some core companies this visit like Biocon, Narayan Cadillac, Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy, Brenntag Industries, etc. But gave away very few offers, Also these placements were mostly considering Business Intelligence, data analytics, banking finance, marketing and other such companies due to the lack of ample of core biotechnology companies visiting the campus and thus rolled out IT based roles. IIT, Guwahati has dedicated placement and training cell which is huge but they are mostly IT companies with big brand recognition. Students usually take up Masters in the same college to increase the chances of getting into core biotech company. Where Placements are phenomenal. The average package was 5 LPA and the highest was 11 LPA and minimum offered range was 4.5 LPA.

LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. The undergrads from IITs has a package of around 11 Lacs per annum, where the highest being rupees 17 Lacs. Though, the degree of engineering physics has a large pool of opportunities and options apart from the job in big corporates. Many, research organizations are inviting the new talents to carry their research forward and paying high for them. Also, students not want to go for research can be teachers in various coaching institutes as well as private colleges. The studies carried forward may take you to the extreme level in the branch and one can be a professor in deemed institution of India. Although, the study structure, the academic environment and the campus life is incomparable. When the talk is about the IITs, the infra may be old but is well managed and maintained by the management.

The academic is well arranged and accepted in may deemed and prestigious universities and colleges of world. Although, the textile engineering is a relatively new and leas opted branch. In India, there is no wide scope and even requirement for textile engineers and the same is reflected in the placement session. The average placements are around 5 Lacs and the highest being upto 10 Lacs which is though not affordable in the IITs. Although the branch has 100 percent placement companies, but the work field is not that much interesting. Hence most of the students, after graduation opt for the jobs and then resign from it. Then, they start teaching in IIT coaching and the future get limited upto there.

Before choosing any University for study I would advice you to do comparison on various parameter like Academics, Ranking, Exposure, Placements etc. My cousin Brother has done B.Tech ECE from Lovely Professional University so I have idea about this University. He got placed in Hewlett Packard Enterprise with decent package. I would like to discuss few points which will help you:-
