During campus placements at GIBS Business School, recruiters are responsible for evaluating candidates via a structured set of evaluations that include both skills and attitude.
To begin with, companies use academic grades, specialisation, internships, and resumes to assess potential candidates and narrow down their list of available candidates for the position being filled.
Following this screening process, candidates may be required to complete various types of assessments including aptitude tests, group discussions, and/or case studies to evaluate analytical skills, communication skills, teamwork abilities, and approach to problem-solving.
Lastly, the last part of the recruitment process consists of conducting personal interviews and technical interviews in order to assess domain knowledge, industry-related awareness and understanding, leadership potential and fit within the culture of the organisation, and self-confidence.
Apart from the above factors, the recruiter also considers a candidate's level of ethical mindset, adaptability and level of practical experience gained from live projects, internships, and industry events, as encouraged by GIBS.
