CSE have better placements. ECE don't have many placements. that's why ECE students also get placed in IT companies out of interest.
This is the sector in which we leave many good colleges behind. The placements in our college have been good even during the worst of market times. Coming to average package and the highest one, the average package is around 3.5 Lacs and the highest package last year offered was 27 Lacs by Amazon. We have many companies visiting our campus from Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, etc. The placements are better in CSE as compared to ECE.
Placement and job opportunity are excellent around 85 companies come during campus placements and they will help students in very efficient and effective manner. There is a proper separate placement for Noida branch and Solan and Guna branch. Mass recruiter companies will also hire plenty of students for the full-time employment.
Overall decent placements observed for ECE branch and core companies have been visiting regularly but the intake is average overall.

Vasavi College of Engineering is a decent engineering college where one gets placed at the right place where he deserves, meaning that the placement package is directly proportional to the amount of effort you put in.
Here I would share with you the placement report of 2017 for computer science batch in Vasavi College of Engineering where the number of companies who visited the campus during the placement drive:
Genpact, Cybage India Software, KEANE India Ltd( NTT DATA), CAP Gemini, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Polaris Software Persistent Systems Limited, Mytrah Energy India Ltd., ADP Private Limited, Hitachi consulting, MU SIGMA, Pramati Technologies, Deloitte, Kony Labs, Oracle, and Accolite.
Keeping that in mind the lowest placement package that was offered in the year 2017 was Rs 1.8 lakhs by Genpact and the highest paying package of Rs 10 lakhs being offered by Accolite.
With this, I would highly recommend this college to everyone who would wish to pursue computer science engineering and would want a decent placement ensured to themselves.

Madras Institute of Technology is affiliated to Anna University which is known for its BE course in aeronautical engineering and is placed among the top colleges in India for aeronautical engineering.

The college has limited number of seats in each department which helps professes to concentrate more on each student the exams are purely based on testing the concepts which the students have learnt from the lectures rather than usual theory paper apart from studies college offers various classes to enhance our skills like foreign languages dance and sports it is a perfect choice for person who wishes to pursue aeronautical engineering in Tamil Nadu.
Internships and the placements provided in the Madras Institute of Technology are very good. The average salary of Madras Institute of Technology is 400000 rupees which are better than any other colleges with a low fee and it provides better value for the money.

Sardar Patel College of Engineering was established in 1962 as a government-aided engineering college. It was started with three conventional courses. viz., Civil, Electrical and Mechanical with an intake of 40 in each branch which was subsequently increased to 60. MIT School of Engineering is affiliated to Manipal Institute of Technology. It is one of the most reputed college in India.
Placements: The placements of MIT are surprisingly good for almost every branch. The CSE department have had a 100% accuracy when it comes to placements and it is the same every year with an average package for these two branches being around 10-15 lakhs per annum (LPA). The highest package was offered by Microsoft at 22 lakhs per annum. The students who got into IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. were usually offered roles in back-end software maintenance. Unique job profiles were by Goldman Sachs, some of which were Android app development and machine learning.
In general, there are over 100+ companies that come for placements with a placement percentage in CSE being 100. Some of the big names were Microsoft, Amazon, SanDisk, Samsung, Deloitte, VMware, Tata Motors, etc. There are internships available in Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Samsung. The job profiles offered were mostly product maintenance at the back end along with Goldman Sachs offering the positions mentioned above.
The stipend offered by these companies was around 30 thousand per month. But apart from this, we have an international organisation in our college by the name of IAESTE which has contacts with universities and companies abroad and it provides applicants paid technical internships abroad.

MIT is one of the most reputed colleges in South India. It was initially an autonomous institution later affiliated to Anna University. Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies is a good institute as it insures hundred percent placement to it cadets and works hard to achieve it at the end of placement sessions. The institute has its own executive shipment management system which provides training to cadets on ships. It is the only institute that provides training to students on a ship which is a plus point for the institute as the other institutes have multiple people of with different nationalities on the board. Though it is a good institute for Naval Engineering, the best institute considered for the same is Tolani Maritime Maritime Institute. Also, the institute provides you with the private travel facility and send the crew in its own private vessel. Here the average placements vary from 6 to 8 LPA and highest being 12 LPA. Although the fee is huge which is obvious for the Naval engineering, one can secure a good placement and grab ample placement opportunities.

Yes, nowadays, taking a loan from banks is quite easier as compared to previous time. Also if you have strong determination to study then there are many doors open for you. No financial issue can stop you from achieving your dream.
Now loan depends on the type of college you are taking admissions into. If you are taking admission in a government college, there are several government banks which will provide you with your college fee at a very less or no interest rates. Central government funded institutions are nowadays providing a lot of convenience to financially week classes and promoting education.
Now if you choose to go to a private college, then many private colleges are linked with banks and they provide easy loans on the receipt of the respective college.
If none of the above factors worked then there are still many loan policy of banks through which money can be issued.
Documents required are: address proof, income certificate, date of birth proof, residential proof, college letter and fee statement, guardians signature and mark sheet of school. Hope it would be helpful.

Agricultural engineering is comparatively a newer branch but still has decent job prospects.

Mechatronics is a specialization in Mechanical Engineering which is used to create and maintain robotic structures using the principles from Mechanical Engineering. Few colleges offer this course as a degree course in B.Tech and few as a post graduate course in M.Tech. I would suggest doing B.tech in ME and then specializing in Mechatronics as Mechanical provides you ample of opportunities if you ever change you mind for Mechatronics. The job opportunities in this sector are few but it is fine as the number of Mechatronics engineers is also less as compared to other branches. You can find job opportunities in Electronics, Automobile, Manufacturing, mining, transport, defense etc. You may also find opportunities in Army, the Navy and the Air force and organisations like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Some of the profiles you can work for are -Industrial Robots (Operation and Maintenance) and Automation related areas.Avionics and Aeronautics.
Industrial systems and Process control like on PLCs and pneumatic control.
This is just some of the ideas I can get now, there can be more opportunities out there.

Production engineering is a unique branch which includes engineering and management both. It is required in many sectors as such. The main job opportunities are asfollowing -
1) Almost all automobile Companies: One of the best place to work for PE
2) Some PSU companies even hire specially for PE, like Vishakhapatnam Steel. But seats are very less.
3) Some PSU Companies hire as a mechanical engineer either through GATE or their own written exam like SAIL, GAIL, BHEL, NTPC etc.
The roles offered in production are generally as following -

3.) Production / shop floor engineer
4.) Maintenance engineer
5.) Logistics & stores
6.) Design & product development etc
7.) ERP stream (SAP, Oracle, other ERP software's) etc.
There are more roles offered than this. This is just the general list.
Try to get into IITs, NITs or other CFTIs for B.tech and then appear for GATE for post-graduation or for jobs in PSUs. For studying abroad appear for GRE and TOEFL. Consider all available options before making a decision.

If I tell you the truth, job prospects aren't that promising in India.
If you want to pursue aeronautical engineering, try going into premier institutes like IIST or IITs so that you would have decent opportunities for good jobs in the field.
Jobs for aeronautical engineers generally are:
Maintenance of an aircraft: Aerospace engineers test new aerodynamic and aviation systems, and maintain them.
Aircraft designer: Aerospace Engineers specializing in this field deal with designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. They may conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
Aviation engineer: Aerospace engineers in this field deal with the airport design, aircraft navigation technologies, and aerodrome planning.
Defence: Aeronautical engineers in this field deal with creation, maintenance and deployment of defence aircraft such as fighter jets, choppers, bombers, etc. Also, the job requires being able to handle such aircraft at necessary times.
You can work in the government sector with ISRO, DRDO, HAL, etc. We can also look at the private companies such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce aerospace, Boeing, Airbus, Mahindra, etc.
You can also go for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
