Hi Avneesh, to help you, merchant navy is the most prestigious careers available in India. It offers the candidates an opportunity to travel the world and have an adventurous filled work environment. There is a boom in this sector with handsome salary package.
You can enter it right after your 12 (PCM) after completing 1 years pre-sea training as a deck cadet. The age of the candidate must also be less than 20 years of age.
After completing B.Sc.(Nautical Science) in the officer cadre which will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experience.
You can also join it directly after b.tech in marine engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, naval architect.
Except marine engineering candidates others have to undergo a 10 months pre-sea training which is offered by many institute and port trusts or recruitingcompany itself. After that you will be appointed as a 5th or junior engineer. It will take you 5-7 years depending in your own abilities for becoming 'chief engineer'.

Hi, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is the body which presides over the Company Secretary program.
The minimum educational qualification to apply for a company secretary course is 10+2. The course has three stages which are Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Foundation course is open for those who have only done 10+2. Those with graduation or a pass in final exams of ICWAI or ICAI can directly apply for the intermediate stage. After doing the Intermediate course and clearing the exams one goes into the final stage. To become a company secretary a candidate needs to be a member of Institute of Company Secretaries. For that one needs to clear the final stage by passing the examinations, gain practical experience and do the required training. A company secretary needs to have very good Communciation skills, excellent command over English, analytical mind and ability to explain things to the directors and decision takers in the company.
Job prospects for Company Secretary are quite good and the scope for growth is also there. Remunerations offered are really good for company secretaries with salaries starting from Rs. 20,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria for Full Time PGDM (Bengaluru Campus)
Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Two years post qualification work experience will be preferred. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply.
Admission Process Criteria
All those candidates who have registered successfully will be called for NMAT, provided they satisfy the conditions of eligibility.
