COEP and PICT are both good colleges and among the top most in Maharashtra. But among the two COEP is the winner. COEP has been ranked one in Maharashtra after the IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings COEP is ranked 24th while VJTI is not even in the top hundred in the list.
Even though PICT was founded specially for degree courses related to computer science it still lags behind COEP. COEP has better facilities and is more trusted among the recruiters than PICT. COEP also has better placements and packages as compared to PICT. Last time average package was around 7-8 LPA for CSE department in COEP. What I have learnt from staying one year in Tamil Nadu is that COEP is well known all over India but the same is not the case with PICT.
So go for COEP over PICT.

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management is located in Greater Noida and is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh.The college is not much older but it's growing very fast. GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management has good placement record for computer science engineering. Highest package offered was 25 lakhs per annum. But the placement of mechanical engineering there is not up to the mark. Very few core companies visited the campus. Most of the mechanical engineering students got placed in software/consultancy/ finance companies.
Average package offered for ME Students is 2-3 lakhs per annum.
So if your aim is to get a good placement that too in mechanical engineering then GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management is not a place for you. You should take admission somewhere else or switch your branch if you want to study in GL Bajaj.

B.Tech in CSE from IIT Kharagpur and B.Tech in CSE from IIT, Delhi then the obvious choice would be: CSE from IIT-D. Reason being, faculty are generally very well acquainted and highly qualified and the programme is grueling & brings out the best from some leading to recent awesome Silicon Valley stories. Some more are slated to appear this year. Though, only these individuals can tell you the exact contribution to their success, I believe they would have done comparably well if they were in a different department or IIT. The research work they have done is also very good and large in volume. A rare department in IIT-D with a no non-sense approach. The students are also excellent. Very sharp and hardworking as well. Therefore, the department has to be one of the best in India'. Also, IIT-Delhi has a brilliant track record when it comes to placements. Their recent achievement is: 400 offers were made in the first four days of placements with the highest offer being $1,00,000 per annum.

As far as the placements are concerned, the scenario is average, there are companies like ABB, Asian Paints, CMC, Cognizant, GODREJ, HCL, HDFC Bank, Hewlett Packard, Hindustan Unilever, HSBC, IBM, ICICI, Indian Army, Infosys, Wipro, etc but the package offered is average. The only drawback with this college is that they fail to provide with 100% batch placement.

Around 90-95% of students from CSE/IT department gets placed in some or the other companies. The package could be as low as 2.8 Lacs or it could be high as 25 Lacs (although only 2 students got that in the entire history), but students at least got a job. Few of the reputed (core CSE) companies which visited the campus in the past few years are Adobe, Amazon, HP, Hike Messenger, etc. Other than this, there are certain other companies such as Ivy Computech, Josh Technologies which also provide a handsome salary. The mass recruiters such as Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant visits every year to recruit a bulk of students. VIT University is the most renowned university in South-India and ranks 11th on the list of the best private engineering colleges in India while its ok use a rank of 6 on the list of best engineering colleges in public as well as private sector.
The college has the best computer science undergraduate program which is well structured and is driven by quizzes and assignments which are given to the students to be solved every day as a part of the internal marking system.
