I would go for VIT any day just because the college has a better reputation ranking 6th on the list of the best private, while SRM ranks 11th on the same list.
Life at VIT is a little more hectic and restricting than life at SRM, this is because of the fact that you will have to solve daily assignments and your classes runs from 8:00 to 7:00 if you belong to CSE in the first year, this is the case at VIT.
While at SRM, you have classes till 5:00 in the first year, and there are no such assignments. Also, you get to go out as many times as you want to, unlike VIT.
So in clear sense, you get to have much more freedom at SRM.
Placements:
More core companies visit VIT in comparison to SRM and so the placements at VIT are certainly a lot better.
Fees:
You have to pay a lot more at SRM if you happen to secure a rank more than SRMJEEE than you get to pay at VIT. Also, the hostel facility is also more expensive at SRM than in comparison to VIT.

COEP is a premier institute while SPCE is not even known by that many people. Among the two COEP is the winner. COEP has been ranked one in Maharashtra after the IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings COEP is ranked 24th while SPCE is on not even in top 100.
Generally speaking COEP blows SPCE out of the water. COEP is much well-known and trusted among recruiters as compared to MIT. Last time COEP had around 83.8 % placements for mechanical (this number seems less as the students who didn't accept the offers are also included) and the average salary was around 6-7 LPA for mechanical department which is more compared to SPCE.
COEP in also better in academics and extra-curricular are compared to SPCE. What I have learnt from staying one year in Tamil Nadu is that COEP is well known all over India but the same is not the case with SPCE.
So go for COEP over SPCE.

Delhi Technological University because of the following reasons
1. Infrastructure of Birla Institute of Technology is much better than infrastructure of Delhi Technological University.
2. Faculty provided by Birla Institute of Technology is much better than the faculty of Delhi Technological University because of experience and knowledge.
3. Facilities provided by Birla Institute of Technology to mechanical engineering students are much better than the facilities provided by Delhi Technological University to mechanical engineering students.
4. Birla Institute of Technology provide funds and encourages it students to take part in mechanical engineering related competitions.

You have your own pros and cons for pursuing mechanical and automation engineering from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology:
Cons:
First of all, no government organisation or any PSU would consider your degree of mechanical and automation engineering equivalent to a mechanical engineering degree because of which you will not be able to qualify for companies looking for mechanical engineers.
The number of core companies visiting the campus during a placement season is very less, that being Anglo Eastern Shipping that do offer packages as high as 14 lacs, but then you have to spend around 4 months on the ship.
The college would make you sit for IT companies' placement which would offer you nothing more than 4 to 5 lacs.
Pros:
If you are really interested in the field and you want to go for higher studies abroad, then you will be able to increase your prospects much higher to get placed in some core company paying you nothing less than 15 lacs per annum.

NIT-Surathkal is better placed with NIRF ranking of 22 as against rank 34 for NIT Warangal.

IIT-Kanpur is the best since inception, it has offered near 100% Placements for Aerospace students and 20% of them already have PPOs. Moreover, average range for Aerospace goes from 8 to 20 LPA and hence, makes it an attraction for various students. The college offers state of art Faculty plus best Infrastructure to maintain quality education. With IIT madras, the internships provided here are very minimal for this specialisation specifically and The Placements for Aerospace is bit mediocre since, not all students get exact core opportunities in Defense, aeronautical space, hence, does not have edge over IIT madras. Both universities are good, As a per my knowledge based on my research I will suggest LPU. Been an part of LPU, I can share the detail of Mechanical engineering. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions, and accreditation down the lane and marks itself amongst the few of the top private universities. The Mechanical Engineering programme seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. Placements: There are more than 100 companies that are coming in LPU for placements of the mech. Students. It varies from 3 Lacs per annum to 12 Lacs per annum. On average, the placements are 5 Lacs in a very core company which gradually sees a couple of rapid promotions based on your hard work. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. Hope this helps.

The aeronautical programme in Hindustan University is said to be good in terms of curriculum and teaching. But when it comes to placements, we have a different story altogether.
Generally, most of the students from aeronautical end up in IT jobs.
This is because hardly any companies visit the campus for core placements.
According to what its students said on various sites, last year only three core companies visited the campus and picked only a handful of students. One of these companies were Unitech transfer, German company offered the highest package of 21 LPA. But this is only for super talented students.
This year, no core company visited the campus and almost everyone will end up in IT jobs with a package of around 3-4 LPA (approx).
This branch has very meager jobs as such. Try to get into IITs or NITs or IIST for better chances at good jobs.

If aerospace is what excites you I would recommend you take up neither. IIST is the right place for you as it paves a way for you to go to ISRO.
Regardless, if you still wish to go to one of the IITs, IIT Madaras is a lot better place for you to take up aerospace engineering, only because of the advanced laboratories and the spectacular reputation of the faculty members at IIT Chennai.
Again, take up aerospace engineering only if you are really interested in the field, as there are not many core companies to recruit undergraduates in aerospace, and if that happens, you'll probably end up in any IT company like TCS, which will be a complete waste of your degree.
Although it is the best place for you start at if you intend to study further for MS/PhD. It gives opportunity for the top 10% percent students of the batch to get admission in the ivy league of colleges in USA, which is the entry ticket to the major core franchise present all around the world.

The placement trend in B.Tech in materials science and engineering in IIT-Kanpur is clean and amazing. Though, Materials Science and Engineering is not one of the core branches but day by day more companies are opening their gates for the people. They are the industry people anyway.

Both NIT-Trichy and NIT-Warangal are among the top three NITs are among the best institutes in India. But NIT Trichy has been consistently ranking better than NIT Warangal for some years now.
