Placements: The placements in core chemical were very good. Around 30% people got placed in core companies. Some of the core companies which came to campus for placements were HPCL, Honeywell, Schlumberger, ReckitBenkister, Johnsson, and Mathew. Apart from this, many got placed in consulting firms like ZS Associates and many got into IT jobs. Core companies like Honeywell, Reliance and Schlumberger do visit the campus, although they choose only the best of the best. Most of the students get placed. The average CTC is around 7 LPA for chemical engineering. Schlumberger offers the highest package. Most of the students actually interested in the chemical branch end up in the US for Masters.
The ones who are not get placed at non-core companies like Credit Suisse or some IT firm. Internship opportunities are low. Overall, the placements were very good.
Curriculum - BITS Pilani follows the curriculum of MIT. We have a lot of surprise tests, mid-semester, and comprehensive exams and also, projects and assignments which help you learn many new things and apply the theory you learned.

It ranks 9 in the list of top engineering colleges of India. It provides the much needed skill that is hands on experience and practical knowledge of how to use different kinds of chemical and they also research about them. In labs equipped with many chemicals. It is known for its great infrastructure faculty members with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like Wi-Fi, sports complex and labs with better equipment and machines. If we talk about the number of companies which give placements to mechanical students are ABB, Accenture, ACG Worldwide, Agro Com, Anglo Eastern Shipping, Ashok Leyland, BCH, BEL, Bluestar, Centuri, Link, Cummins India Ltd, Deloitte, Essar, Future First, GMR Energy, HCL Core, Hero Motors, Honda Two Wheelers, Hero Motors Corporations, IBM, Indian Army, Infosys, Ingersol Rand, JSW, Kenna Metals, L& T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Michelin, Moog India, Mphasis, Mu Sigma, ONGC, Oracle, Punj Lloyd, Quest, Reliance, Tata Technologies, Tata Motors, TCE, TCS, TCE , Telcon, Tech Mahindra, Titan, Vedanta, WIPRO, WIPRO, W S Atkins, Zuari Cement. But on the other hand, if you ask the percentage than the things will go upside down just because the company only take those students who are fittest for the environment but make sure that the placements are not 90-100% as told by the college.
Moreover, still, for final decision ask one of the mechanical students who are currently there in college and know each and every thing about the campus placements.

50% of the students opting for automobile engineering go for further studies. Some students with higher gpa and other good records get placed in core companies. Many get placed in IT companies. Even many of the bright students get placed in IT. There could many reasons :
There are many many companies recruiting from MIT Manipal but the problem is what to choose, core company or IT company?
First of all take this very seriously, the life of an engineer at a production company is tough. I do not mean to scare you, but it is true, unfortunately. Its not like at the IT companies where you can get a lot of time and also a good city. However you will become a tough person gradually. So to answer the question that some of you guys have asked Which to prefer: IT company or core company?
If you want to join a core company for the money, youll be surprised! An IT company will give you a similar payout after 3-4 years and would also give you lot of options to witch companies and also other benefits. I suggest you join a core company if and only if you actually like Mechanical or automobile engineering! Else, you'll end up frustrated. Another reason you will join the core company is because you may not like sitting continuously for 8 hours.
The Core experience helps a lot for MS admissions to a good university abroad and getting a research project / research assistant position under a professor and getting a job after MS. They love it if you have any industry experience. The underline however is that the project should be related to your specialization during your Masters.

Placements : The placements were not that good as compared to the previous years and around 90% of the students are placed who were in First Degree. Mostly Dual Degree students (Non-CS) and low CGPA students are unplaced yet. The highest was 45 lakhs, lowest 4.2 LPA, and the average was 9 LPA.
10 core companies have visited our campus like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, HPCL, Nestle Etc. and in IT, lots of good companies like Goldman Sachs, Directi, Amazon, Samsung and in non-core, banks and consultancy companies have visited including top players like Bain, Mckinsey, Boston, Axis Bank, IndusInd, HSBC, etc.
Almost all the students who wanted to do internship got an internship in summer for 2 months as well as for 5 months. The highest stipend paid was Rs. 80 thousand and the lowest was Rs. 12 thousand per month.More than 90% students get placed every year.
The minimum salary offered is 4 lakhs per annum and the maximum is 10.5 lakhs per annum. Many companies in different streams visit the college for placements. Some companies come for internships only and they provide pre-placement offers to the selected students. Almost 98% of students get an internship from the college. Companies visiting the college are from core fields as well as from non-core fields.

The placements are very good for the last two years, the annual salary of Rs 24 Lacs was offered by Code Nation in 2015 and Annual Salary of Rs 18 Lacs offered by Amazon in 2016 Annual Salary of Rs 15 Lacs plus benefits offered by Flipkart in the same year, ample of reputed companies have visited this time also like:

B.Tech course in Jain University is provided by IIAEM. According to the students there, here is a list of the pros and cons of joining the programme including placement stats in the CONS.
Pros:
You can overwhelmingly say I'm from the aerospace branch.
If you have a lot of money you can spend on building some quadcopter and RC flights.
Cons:
1.High tuition fee for the aerospace branch, hostel fee (but it has the best hostel in Karnataka).
2.Around 97.5% of people join aerospace just because of its name, there you are not going to learn anything.
3.Only 1 maybe 2 companies visit for campus recruitment and only 1 or 2 may get selected.
4. Ony 5-7% of the people get placed in general.
5. You will end up doing some testing IT job or low-level management job or some BPO job.
