Reva University-Bangalore is known to provide for a good placement for IT, software and computer science branches.
But it is not the case for the civil department. I will list out the reasons supporting the above fact in form of pros and cons of the placement in the college:
Pros:
Due to the strategic location of the college being Bangalore, it manages to attract a large number of corporate companies.
Even if you are unable to get a placement in any of the core civil companies, you'll get a placement in one of the IT firms or BPOs.
Cons:
The college fails to attract a number of civil core companies.
The total batch placement in the civil branch is 70% only.

BE placements from Jadavpur university are far better as compared to other institutions of Bengal.
There is a large scope for civil engineers in both corporate as well as the North East India, where Jadavpur university students find a path to do better in future.
Talking about the average placements from the university, it is been around Rs 6.5 lakh per annum, the highest being Rs 15 lakh and lowest being Rs 3 lakh.
Since there are many companies visiting for non-civil fields then also civil students participating and getting selected are contributing to high placement percentage.
Though overall, university is very nice, but one should get more information about the locality and culture of the university before taking admission as it may not suit the north Indian as told to me by one of my seniors.
Also, the admission process is through West Bengal JEE conducted every year where one has to perform the best for getting into a civil branch of the most elite institution of Bengal.

Christ University faculty of engineering is better than ACED. Christ offers quality education. They have a group of experienced faculties. This campus is one of the oldest in Bangalore. ACED as compared to Christ offers less placement. Christ has its own brand name across all India with tie-ups with a large number of foreign educators. A large number of students are willing to enter into this field of education each and every year. There are a large number of quality campuses in Bangalore. Doing Bachelor of Engineering from Bangalore is always useful. Bangalore is famous for the Information Technology and ITES jobs. So large number of students join Bangalore campuses for their Bachelor of engineering education. No colleges offer placement without the student's support. All campuses will invite good companies which offer good packages. They will provide placement training for that company. IIT-Kharagpur offers some great offers in the international domain with the highest salary up to 82 LPA by Rio Into for Latin American operations in big data analysis role for environmental safety experience. If I had to sum up the placements of safety and fire engineering from CUSAT, I would say it is better than any other branch that the college offers.

Cons:
It is relatively tough for one to get through off campus placements for the branch.
The companies that recruit most students are PSU'S like Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and many other private firms.
If you manage to not to get any backlogs, the college will take care of the placements for you.

The university expects many more companies for placement in the next two months. Apparel technology branch does not see many companies on campus for placements. Thapar University-Patiala has very good Placement record in CS dept. A separate Computer department is in process, which has almost all kinds of facility/course/labs related to computer. Average package of Computer Engineering in the year 2016 was around INR 8 Lacs per annum. The highest Package offered (Domestic) was INR 18.5 Lacs per annum (Wallmart and De Shaw) and international package was INR 32 Lacs per annum. Companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, Deshaw, etc. visited the university. Placement is almost 100 percent for Computer engineering branch. Studying COE/CSE in Thapar University is a boon itself. The only lack I feel is, there is a lot of students in this dept. Almost 1000 students will be taken from Computer branch only.
