Due to the strategic location of the college being Bangalore, it manages to attract a large number of corporate companies.
Even if you are unable to get a placement in any of the core civil companies, you'll get a placement in one of the IT firms or BPOs.

There is a large scope for civil engineers in both corporate as well as the North East India, where Jadavpur university students find a path to do better in future.
Talking about the average placements from the university, it is been around Rs 6.5 lakh per annum, the highest being Rs 15 lakh and lowest being Rs 3 lakh.

Pros:
100% batch placement for fire and safety engineering branch.
Starting salary of 8-10 lacs for the same branch.

A few people are there who can maintain their courage after a long gap like you. No need to worry about your graduation (B.Tech or AMIE), because Diploma is also a technical course which you have done earlier. It will be best for you, if you go for a regular degree, number of colleges and universities are there, which offer admission on merit bases, so you can get admission easily.
