Hi,
More details: https://www.admissionblock.com/
the choice RV College of Engineering is very nice as the institute is autonomous, funded by the state government. It is located at the prime location of Bangalore, the hub of many global and national corporates, this factor attracts the companies which is reflected in the recruitment drive through the number of quality placements and a high percentage of students getting placed. Students mainly opt for the core branches such a CSE, ECE and IT. When it comes to the comparison between the two, the main factor that need to be taken into consideration is the placement.

Placements, IIT- Bombay is the best since inception, it has offered near 100% Placements for students and 20% of them already have PPOs. Moreover, average range for Aerospace goes from 8 to 20 LPA and hence, makes it an attraction for various students. The college offers state of art Faculty plus best Infrastructure to maintain quality education. With IIT madras, the internships provided here are very minimal for this specialisation specifically and The Placements for Aerospace is bit mediocre since, not all students get exact core opportunities in Defense, aeronautical space, hence, does not have edge over IIT madras. Guide-Level 12

No, B.Tech or BE is not necessary to become a scientist because in the end, you will have to pursue PhD for research. B.Sc and M.Sc may be a good choice. B.Sc and M.Sc are research based courses.
If you want to do B.Tech, you can choose the branch of your interest.
That's all.
Hope it helped.
Thanks.

Hi dear,
There could be many differences that could be stated but the most important is that the B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive than the BE course, which is more theoretical. The name could also pose as a difference that is engineering versus technology, but that actually does not matter. Although for better understanding you could say that:
Engineering is a 'Science', dealing more with theoretical concepts & principles; technology deals more with the application of these theories for practical purposes. But, both BE and B.Tech courses offered by various engineering colleges/ institutes have similar curriculum more
