This is just a myth that is only a CBSE students can score good marks in JEE not students from ICSE. If you are good in Studies and you have all the key points & concept of all the chapter is in your mind and you know how to utilize, apply these concept in the question easily and faster than you have to problem in the exam. JEE paper just check the students potential and knowledge. Student which is average in studies can say that it is tough but when you are sincere in your work then it doesn't matter from which board you are. I think this is student to student thinking that JEE is difficult for ICSE student and easy for CBSE student. Main thing is if you really want to crack JEE Mains, then that wouldn't be difficult for you. If not, JEE is the toughest exam across the world. Another thing is from next year or in 2019 this myth is also getting cleared that is JEE is easy for CBSE or ICSE because Government is changing the examination body into a single body who can conduct all the big exams of India.

Candidates must have passed class XII from a recognised state or central board. They need to secure minimum aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class XII. Those appearing in Class XII or equivalent in 2017 will be eligible to apply for GITAM GAT 2017.
